Between December and March, Northern Tanzania bursts into life and we’ve got the perfect safari combo that delivers on highland adventures, mind-blowing migration before the perfect ending of northern Serengeti wilderness.
When the season is green, we’re Entamanu-keen

Ngorongoro Crater sometimes gets a bad rap for getting crowded, but it needn’t be if you do it right. Book a minimum of two nights, three if you can and here’s why.
Cosy and elemental abode on the Crater rim
- Let the scenery take your breath away. Before you, the Crater’s vast caldera – behind you, the Serengeti and Loliondo plains stretching to infinity.
- Our Masai neighbours call this home: spend the afternoon with them, and see it all through their eyes.
- Get into the Crater as first light unveils a landscape filled with game.
Southern Serengeti migration madness

Between December and March, southern Serengeti draws the headlines as the migration thunders south for calving season.
Wake up in our adventure-spirited mobile camp
- Imagine sunrise and fresh coffee surrounded by the grunts of gnus.
- Millions of wildebeest birthing a new generation; a plethora of predators moving in for the feast; birds, butterflies and the lush gloriousness of green season.
- And it’s everything you need and nothing you don’t, true to the safari traditions of early adventurers.

A world of quiet, calm serenity in northern Serengeti
The rains bring a new beginning, colours are washed with a new coat of vividness and flora and fauna alike are infused with vitality.
Finish in the north for peace and have the place to yourself
- This is where you’ll find Lamai, the jewel in the Nomad crown, a sensational, low-impact lodge, tucked out of sight on a large kopje.
- World class game viewing all year round with superb resident game.
- Endless wilderness all to yourself as many stay south with the migration.
Over the years, many seasonal mobile camps are pitched depending on migration movements and conditions on the ground. As we look towards the new season, we have taken the decision to switch from Ndutu to Kusini. This is a quiet area of the short grass plains, rich in resident game and beautifully green after some recent rains. This has long been a favourite stomping ground for Nomad guides and they are super excited to be exploring Kusini this season.
We will continue to fly guests in and out of Ndutu Airstrip so there will be no change there. Our other camp remains in the north until mid-December when it will begin its migration south and into Ndutu as planned.
