There are several animals that are named King, either due to their physical appearance, behavior or their significance in culture and history:

1. Lion – The lion is often referred to as the “king of the jungle” or “king of beasts” due to its majestic appearance and dominance over other animals in its habitat.

2. Cobra – The king cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world and is known for its characteristic hood and aggressive behavior.

3. Penguin – The king penguin is the second-largest penguin species and is known for its distinctive orange markings on its neck.

4. Salmon – The king salmon, also known as the Chinook salmon, is one of the most prized species of salmon due to its large size and delicious flavor.

5. German Shepherd – The German Shepherd is often referred to as the “king of dog breeds” due to its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility.

6. Horse – King horses are famous for their speed, strength, and grace, and have been revered by cultures throughout history.

7. Butterfly – The monarch butterfly is often called the “king of butterflies” due to its distinctive orange and black markings and its ability to migrate long distances.

Overall, the names “King” is often given to animals that are strong, powerful, and inspiring in some way.
