Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi – Hemingways Nairobi
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and you and your family will be assisted through immigration and customs. You will then collect your luggage and be driven to Hemingways Nairobi for your one-night stay.
Kenya’s capital city of Nairobi is one of the largest and most influential cities in Africa, and is recognised as a commercial and financial regional hub. Enjoy the rest of your day a leisure, with dinner at the Hemingways Nairobi.

Day 2 and 3 Masai Mara National Reserve – Bateleur Camp
After breakfast, a member from the team will collect you from Hemingways Nairobi and drive you to Wilson Airport for your flight to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip to begin your Masai Mara adventure.
The Masai Mara National Reserve is an unforgettable game reserve due to its abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. With gently rolling hills and wide open plains, this is the quintessential African safari experience. Expect to encounter large numbers of animals year round, with big herds of elephant, buffalo and other plains game. It is also common to see predator interaction.
Over the next few days take time to explore this wilderness area. Discuss your activity preferences with your dedicated guide and set the pace for your very own family safari adventure. A private safari vehicle is at your family’s disposal.

Day 4,5 & 6 Lewa Conservancy – Lewa Wilderness
After breakfast at the lodge, your guide will drive you and your family to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip for your flight onward to Wilson Airport and then to Lewa Airstrip.
Lewa Wilderness is situated on the edge of one of Kenya’s most private game sanctuaries, the wildlife-rich Lewa Conservancy, and is home to the largest concentration of Grevy zebra in Africa.
Adventure awaits during your three-night stay at Lewa Wilderness, and includes game drives into the wildlife-rich Lewa Conservancy, camel riding, nature walks, horseback riding, tennis games and cultural visits to a nearby Maasai village. Those in need of some leisure time can simply relax with a book in the lodge’s pretty garden or take a refreshing dip in the inviting swimming pool.

Over the next two days, take the time to explore the Lewa Conservancy:
Join an enlightening cultural excursion to a Maasai cultural homestead on Ngwesi, the neighbouring wildlife scheme that the lodge has helped to establish.
Go on an educational excursion to one of the selected neighbouring villages and schools and visit the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy HQ.
Take a flight to Rutundu, a beautiful montane farm on Mt Kenya that offers superb trout fishing.
Revel in daily customisable safaris that will educate the whole family on the area’s flora, fauna, animal behaviour, conservation and history.
For avid birders ask your guide to take you on an early morning walk about the lodge garden to find the resident birds.
Ask your guide to take you on a walk either along the river bed, or for the more enthusiastic walkers, over the hills.

Day 7 to 10 Diani beach, Kenyan Coast – Alfajiri Villas
It’s time to hit the beach!
After your last breakfast in bush, your guide will drive you to Lewa Airstrip for your onward flight to Wilson Airport. From there, you will connect to your flight from Wilson Airport to Diani Airstrip. Protected by an offshore barrier coral reef, Kenya’s south coast is famous for its beautiful and safe beaches, as well as spectacular diving, fishing and surfing. Upon arrival at Diani Airport, you will be met by a friendly representative who will drive you and your family by private transfer to Alfajiri Villas. Enjoy the beach-break during your four-night stay at Alfajiri Villas in the Beach Villa.

In the evening, meet with your villa manager to discuss your plans and possible activities for your family over the next few days. Adventurous families will delight in the number of thrilling activities on offer, including kite surfing, diving or snorkelling*. Deep-sea fishing excursions can also be arranged in search of the elusive marlin. For those who wish to relax, enjoy your villa’s private pool, head to the nearby beach for sundowners, or indulge in a massage spa treatment. Other more educational and community-driven experiences include marine Education Center visits, visits to the nearby local community projects and orphanages.

Day 11 – Departure
Enjoy your last early morning swim in the sea and breakfast before waving a fond farewell to Kenya as you make your way back to Diani Airstrip.
From here, you and your family will board your scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, where you will be picked up and transfered you to the International Airport for your onward flight.
