From September through to October, Kenya and Tanzania quietens down but retains good weather. Game viewing remains at its peak, with animals becoming easier to spot as the vegetation thins out. Namibia is a great option with fabulous scenery and game viewing opportunities, whilst November is the sweet spot in South Africa for those looking to wine and dine in Cape Town’s culinary hot spots without the waitlists of the busy summer season.

October marks the end of the monsoon season, making it ideal for exploring the northern fort cities of the iconic Golden Triangle. Diwali celebrations on a grand scale sweep across the country in November, which is also the perfect time for lazy days on the beaches of Kerala and Goa.
