Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope are stunning natural landmarks located at the tip of South Africa and easily visited from Simon’s Town, as well as from the centre of Cape Town. Together, they provide a spectacular experience of nature, history, and breathtaking scenery – not to be missed!

Cape Point is part of the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. It features dramatic cliffs, breathtaking views, and a historic lighthouse situated at its peak, which is accessible by a funicular or a walking trail. The area is rich in flora and fauna, ideal for hiking and spotting wildlife.

Cape of Good Hope, often mistaken as the southernmost point of Africa, is known for its stunning landscapes and unofficially where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. It’s a popular spot offering trails, picnic areas, and views of diverse marine wildlife.

***Andrew’s Tip: Stop at the local ostrich farm when you leave the national Park. It’s a great opportunity to see the ostriches, have a break and a food place for a light snack or a good meal.
