Discover the towering dunes of Sossusvlei and visit the eerie Deadvlei. Explore the incredible scenery of Namibia’s remote Skeleton Coast by light aircraft. Land on a Skeleton Coast beach to explore untouched areas on foot. Meet Himba tribes people and search for desert-adapted wildlife. Take a boat trip on the Kunene River that divides Namibia from Angola, a narrow strip of lush green running through this desert area. Track rhino in the Ongava Reserve and watch the wildlife at one of Etosha’s waterholes.
DAY 1: International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Windhoek.
DAY 2: Sossusvlei & Sesriem
On arrival at Windhoek Airport you will be met and escorted to your light aircraft which will fly you south to the dunes of Sossusvlei where you will be staying in the private Kulala Concession.

DAY 3: Sossusvlei & Sesriem
Head into the dunes early this morning before the heat really begins to increase. The guided activities will take you in at first light so you will be some of the first people in the area. Both Deadvlei and Sossusvlei are worth visiting as they offer very different perspectives of this region. If you have the energy, clamber up one of the dunes for great views.

DAY 4: The Skeleton Coast
This morning you will be taken back to the airstrip where Schoemans will pick you up for the spectacular flight up to Swakopmund and then into to the Skeleton Coast. Along the way you will stop for lunch along the beach and enjoy flights over the Ugab formations as well taking some time to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

DAY 5: The Skeleton Coast
Today you take a scenic flight along the Skeleton Coast as well as the roaring dunes before heading to Leylandsdrift Camp.

DAY 6: The Skeleton Coast
Enjoy a nature drive looking for desert-adapted elephant, visit the Himba people and fly up north to explore the Serra Caféma area and the Kunene River.

DAY 7: Etosha National Park
Enjoy a boat trip down the Kunene River and climb some small peaks on the Angola side. After lunch you will depart by light aircraft to Ongava Lodge. This is a beautiful property set in a private concession on the edge of Etosha in the Ongava Reserve. The area consistently provides some of the best wildlife sightings in the area.

DAY 8: Etosha National Park
There are a number of activities that you can do from Ongava Lodge. These include excursions into Etosha and on the Ongava Reserve, guided walks and also the opportunity to track rhino on foot. It really is an exhilarating feeling as you quietly approach these amazing animals!

Enjoy another day of safari activities from Ongava Lodge.

DAY 10: Windhoek
After a final game drive this morning you will be flown back to Windhoek where your driver will collect you and take you to your guesthouse to relax for the evening.

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
