Relax with a drink as you watch the sun set over the Luangwa River from your treehouse at Chamilandu. Enjoy a night safari searching for leopard, bush babies, honey badgers and porcupines. Head out on an early morning walking safari, following the tracks of big game and searching for smaller animals in the bush.
DAY 1: International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Lusaka.
DAY 2: South Luangwa National Park
Arrive in Lusaka and connect onto a light aircraft flight to Mfuwe. On arrival in Mfuwe transfer through the South Luangwa Park to Chamilandu Bushcamp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.

DAY 3: South Luangwa National Park
Full day of game viewing in the South Luangwa. You can choose between game drives and walking safaris during the day and night drives after sunset. Game is excellent in this area of the park and as it is in such a remote area, you are unlikely to see other vehicles.

DAY 4: South Luangwa National Park
Game drive or walking safari from Chamilandu to Chindeni Bushcamp. Chindeni is situated on a beautiful oxbow lagoon and wildlife often wanders into camp. Afternoon game viewing on foot or in vehicles.

DAY 5: South Luangwa National Park
Full day game viewing from Chindeni Bushcamp. We highly recommend taking a night drive from Chindeni as it gives you a fantastic chance of seeing leopard.

DAY 6: South Luangwa National Park
Walking safari to Zungulila Bushcamp. This remote camp is in an area with no roads and the focus is on wild walking safaris.

DAY 7: South Luangwa National Park
Walk and game drive to Kuyenda Bushcamp. Kuyenda is situated in an excellent game area. Spend the afternoon game viewing here.

DAY 8: South Luangwa National Park
Full day’s game viewing from Kuyenda Bushcamp.

DAY 9: International return flight
Transfer back to Mfuwe airport for your flight back to Lusaka to meet your onward flights.
DAY 10: International return flight
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
