Undertake jeep safaris in search of tigers and other wildlife. As well as the key mammals, learn about the incredibly varied birds, insects, flora and fauna. Visit the central fort in Bandhavgarh National Park. Take a walking safari to study smaller animals and plant life.
DAY 1: International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Nagpur.
DAY 2: Pench Tiger Reserve
Arriving into Nagpur Airport, you will make the short drive to Pench for two nights. You will enjoy your first afternoon at leisure. You might like to take a walk around the grounds of the hotel which are particularly good for bird spotting.

DAY 3: Pench Tiger Reserve
Enjoy morning and afternoon jeep safaris. As well as searching for the elusive tiger, you will be able to look out for many of the park’s bird species including the crested honey buzzard and paradise flycatcher.

DAY 4: Kanha National Park
One final morning game drive before your journey continues by road to the largest of the national parks, Kanha, where you will stay for three nights. Enjoy jeep safaris into the park, village visits and birdwatching walks here.

DAY 5: Kanha National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Kanha inspired Rudyard Kipling’s “Jungle Book” and it’s easy to see why with a flourishing wildlife population. There is the opportunity to spot tigers here when accompanied by your experienced guide.

DAY 6: Kanha National Park
Two more jeep safaris today. Keep a look out for the rare swap deer as well as bison, mongoose and jungle cat.

DAY 7: Bandhavgarh National Park
Final morning drive before continuing your journey by road to Bandhavgarh National Park, stopping en route at the Fossils National Park. Enjoy jeep safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park, including a visit to the imposing Central Fort which has views right across the jungle plains.

DAY 8: Bandhavgarh National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris in Bandhavgarh today. The flora is particularly fascinating here with towering sal trees and the striking flame of the forest plant.

DAY 9: Satpura National Park
Drive to Jabalpur this morning for a short train journey to Pipariya. On arrival transfer to Satpura National Park for three nights. Enjoy a walking safari and explore the Tawa Reservoir by boat.

DAY 10: Satpura National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris. You also have the opportunity to take a waking safari with a naturalist — the only national park where you can do so.

DAY 11: Satpura National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris. You have the opportunity to see spotted deer and the striking Indian bison. With a good naturalist, there is also the chance of spotting tigers.

Transfer to Bhopal Airport for your onward flights.
DAY 13: International return flight
Arrive home today to complete your journey.
